All About SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja (English)

            SMA N 1 Singaraja is the only one RSBI school in Singaraja and quite famous in Bali, National, and International. SMA N 1 Singaraja was officially founded in November 1st 1958.

This school has a long history because it was founded during the dutch colonialism era. SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja was the oldest high school in Bali and Nusa Tenggara region. This is because main building used the architecture of the dutch style.  The main building still stand sturdily until now, although this building  had undergo some repair and renovation in some part. The reparation and renovation at the building didn't change the aesthetics style of this building as historical building.              Since 4 years ago, SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja had developing and become one of the stud of international standard high school or usually called RSBI in Bali and will get the certificate of International Standard School soon. SMA N 1 Singaraja is one of the favorite school in Singaraja and even on Bali with a lot of achievement that this school had achieved. SMA N 1 Singaraja can compete in the middle of the construction of the new school that have a certain quality. And now, SMA N 1 Singaraja not just had known in Bali, but outside Bali and even in the International world.
  This cannot be separated by the role of the leader or the headmaster, and the staff of the SMA N 1 Singaraja who had a strong commitment in increasing the quality of the education in SMA N 1 Singaraja. Because of that, it is not strange if SMA Negeri 1 Singaraja can make its wish come true and become an International Standard school

Since year 1950 , there are 10 headmasters that had lead this school. The names are listed in table below:

         1.  Ketut Subrata, served as the headmaster at year 1950 –1952,

         2.  Sumarsono Sudigdo, served as the headmaster at year 1952 – 1956,

         3.  Drs. Suwito Suntoro, served as the headmaster at year1956 – 1959,

         4.  Gedong Bagoes Oka, served as the headmaster at year 1959 – 1963,

         5.  Ida Bagus Anom,  served as the headmaster at year 1963 – 1967,

         6.  IGK Suweta, served as the headmaster at year 1967 – 1987,

         7.  Putu Serangan, served as the headmaster at year 1987 – 1993,

         8.  Drs. I Gst. Md. Putra, served as the headmaster at year 1993 – 2000,

         9.  Drs. I Made Sudjana, served as the headmaster at year 2000 – 2004,

       10.  Drs. I Nyoman Darta, M.Pd. served as the headmaster at year 2004– now).
